The Kings Stores
Welcome to The Kings Stores
The pubs regal sounding name was adopted from the sites historical past. It is belief that the location was, during the reign of Kings Henry VIII, a munitions storage depot for the English armies which stretched to Spitalfields and beyond. The pub also has a more grisly claim to fame. It was the last place the final victim of Jack The Ripper was seen before she came to an untimely death. Fear not though, as nowadays you'll find a warm welcome, good pint of cask ale and some hearty pub food awaits you.
