Welcome to The City Barge

The City Barge is a cosy public house located on a picturesque stretch of the river Thames called Strand on the Green. Built in 1484 it was originally called the navigators arms but changed names after the lord mayors barge moored outside for a period of time. Looking out from the riverside you can see Oliver's island teaming with wildlife and watch the numerous boats ambling down the river. The Beatles video for 'help' was famously filmed inside the city barge. Serving great food, fantastic ale and fine wine it is one of the must visit pubs in London.
