Welcome to The Famous Red Hart

Dating back to circa 1500 the Red Hart is the oldest public house in Hitchin and the last place where public hanging took place!! Its changed a lot since then; the pub offers great food and drink and boasts a wonderful courtyard. Recently refurbished to a very high standard, the pub really does offer something for everyone. Food is now served all day everyday including Sunday when we serve a really scrummy Sunday lunch!
