Welcome to The Acorn

The Acorn dates back from 1858, and is located at the crossroads in Burncross, a lovely part of North Sheffield. It is an idyllic pub that has retained its olde-world image and maintained a traditional feel, adding much to its charm today. It is a focal part of an active and high profile community, and is central to all community events. We are home to the locally famous Acorn Amble, which is a walk from Castleton in Derbyshire to the Acorn, a distance of some 28 miles, completed in aid of charity. The Acorn has a growing reputation for its fine quality food and service enhanced by its selection of cask ales, lagers, wines and coffees.
